Carly Rae Jepsen's conversion into a princess has started!
The "Call Me Maybe" artist imparted an in the background photograph with her Instagram supporters today, posting a dark and white photograph of herself getting fitted into one of the outfits she'll be wearing for her Broadway part in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella beginning Feb. 4.
"Initially day on set and they give me a chance to attempt on the BIG wedding dress! They needed to reward me with smarties to take it off. @cinderellabway how about we play spruce up again tmr please! #cinderellabway," Jepsen inscribed the photograph.

The news that Carly would be taking the stage was initially reported in late December, in the wake of discovering that Jepsen was supplanting Laura Osnes, who gained a Tony designation for the featuring part.
Osnes is leaving the show after a yearlong run at the Broadway Theatre. Jepsen, 28, will show up in the musical creation for 12 weeks. "Broadway has been a long for mine since I was a young lady and I anticipate working with this inconceivably gifted throws to tell this excellent story," the pop star said.
She later tweeted, "Dear @lauraosnes I think you are verifiably dazzling. Huge shoes to fill! It's a honor to attempt on the Cindy shoes! Xoxox."
This is Jepsen's Broadway debut, not her first time assuming a musical. The star likewise performed in secondary school creations of Annie, Grease and The Wiz in British Columbia.
